A warm theatre, a darkened space, shadows and light all around. You, me, us... a room full of people and places. Interesting lives and untold stories. Forgotten truths and new possibilities.
Spherical Directions is a company which explores life through art. It does not limit itself or its audience to one area of performance. It is a company which instead chooses to chase its imagination, to whirl through the colours of the world, bumping into people and ideas and holding onto these until it’s time to let go and follow a new path, a new direction.
The core members of Spherical Directions are Jemma Houghton and Daniel McClelland. With ongoing collaborations with different people and performing in a multitude of venues, Spherical Direction’s work is intense and altogether a little bit different.

Exciting News!
Spherical Directions is currently working on the following:
1. ‘Taking Stock’ - a multimedia and live theatre performance about the different choices, paths and directions people face throughout their life. Venues and dates TBC.
2. Reworking ‘The C Word’ to take to The Christie Hospital. Spherical Directions have been invited to perform ‘The C Word’ at The Christie hospital at the request of Howard Newhall, The Christie’s Raising Awareness and Fundraising Manager. The C Word is a devised piece of theatre: a collection of real peoples’ experiences of cancer, their memories, thoughts and emotions. The piece tells the stories of those we have loved, lost and saved and pays tribute to the ongoing strength and courage of those who continue to fight cancer today. Dates TBC.
